Dear Families,

Happy Spring! I just LOVE this time of year!

: We wrote a circle story type book following Laura Numeroff's style of writing. Look for it to arrive at your home soon! We will begin our Poetry Unit learning how to write different types of poems next week.

Reading: We will continue working in our non fiction unit enjoying many non fiction books and learning all about their text features. We are learning how to show feelings when reading and bring drama into our voice to bring the topic to life!

Math: We are working in Engage New York's Module 6: Place Value, Comparison, Addition and Subtraction to 100. I will send home more homework pages from this module for your child to complete at home for extra support. Please review their finished work and there is NO NEED to send it back to class.
