Dear Families,

Poetry: It's been all about poetry. The students have learned three types of poetry so far: a diamante, acrostic, and a haiku poem.

Frog and Toad:  Hopefully you will all be able to make it to our class play, A Year With Frog and Toad, on Tuesday, May 28 at 8:30 AM in our classroom.  We will begin reading our scripts this week and pick out our parts.  The kids are so excited!

Math: We are working in Engage New York's Module 6: Place Value, Comparison, Addition and Subtraction to 100. We practice fluency each day with a math fact sprints from Engage New York as well flashcards. We are using place value to determine the amount when given a handful of coins. Try this at home too!

Have a fantastic weekend!!
